Arrival: Welcome on arrival at Gaya Airport, Meet & greet by Magadh Tours executive with traditional garland.

Transfer: After meet-and-assist services, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Evening Proceed to visit: 

Mahabodhi Temple - UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Mahabodhi Temple marks the sacred spot where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. 

Overnight: Stay overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Breakfast: Start the day with breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed to visit:

Dungeshwari Cave: The place where Lord Buddha spent severe 6 years before getting enlightenment under Bodhi tree. 

Sujata Village - is a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site located just across the Niranjana River from Bodhgaya. It is named after Sujata, a local village girl who offered sweet rice (kheer) to Siddhartha Gautama before he attained enlightenment.

Niranjana River - also known as Phalgu River flows near Bodhgaya and holds great spiritual significance in Buddhism. It was on the banks of this river that Prince Siddhartha Gautama practiced severe asceticism for years during his search for truth.

Various International monasteries - surround the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, built by different Buddhist countries such as Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Tibet, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, and others.

Enroute: Drive to Rajgir (site of great Sanctity and significance for Buddhists) and it around (approx. 70 kms / 02 hours).

Arrive: On arrival proceed to visit:

Gridhkutta Hill - also known as Vulture’s Peak is a sacred Buddhist site located in Rajgir, Bihar. It was one of Lord Buddha’s favourite places for meditation and teaching.

Bimbisar jail - is a historical site in Rajgir, believed to be the place where King Bimbisara, a great follower of Lord Buddha, was imprisoned by his own son, Ajatashatru.

Ajatashatru's Fort - was built by King Ajatashatru around the 6th century BCE. It is one of the oldest forts in India, known for its strong stone walls and strategic design.

Venuvanaram: The first monastery gifted to Lord Buddha by King Bimbisara of Magadha. The park, a bamboo grove, provided a peaceful place for Buddha and his disciples to reside and preach.

Enroute: Drive to Nalanda (approx. 15 Kms / 20 Min)

The ruins of Nalanda University - One of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies., Nalanda was one of the greatest monastic universities of the ancient world University established in 5th century BC.

After visit drive continue towards Vaishali (approx. 04 hrs. / 135 kms) transfer to hotel.

Proceed to visit: 

Ashokan Pillar: a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site and a historical monument.

Relic Stupa: is a Buddhist monument built to house sacred relics of the Buddha or other important Buddhist saints.

Buddha Samayak Stupa - A significant modern Buddhist monument, built to commemorate the teachings of Lord Buddha and to symbolize universal peace and harmony.

World Peace Pagoda: is a Buddhist monument built to promote peace, harmony, and non-violence worldwide.

Coronation Tank - is a historically significant, sacred water body in Vaishali, Bihar, where Licchavi representatives were anointed in ancient times.

Transfer: After visit drive to Kushinagar (approx. 200 Kms / 4 Hrs).

Enroute visit Kesariya, The largest Buddhist stupa of the world.

After visit drive continue to Kushinagar.

Arrive: On arrival Kushinagar, check in at hotel.

Proceed to visit:

Mahaparinirvana Temple: Marks the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana, or final nirvana, after his death.

Ramabhar Stupa: It is considered one of the holiest sites in Buddhism, symbolizing the Buddha’s final release from the cycle of rebirth (samsara).

Indo-Japan Temple - is a prominent Buddhist temple built through the collaboration between India and Japan.

Overnight: Stay overnight at Hotel in Kushinagar.

Transfer: Drive to Varanasi (approx. 260 Kms / 4 Hrs). 

Arrive: On arrival, excursion to Sarnath Visit:

Dhamekha Stupa - A massive and sacred monument marking the spot where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. 

Mulagandha Kuti Vihar - The Vihara enshrined with the sacred relics of Sakyamuni Buddha. 

Ashokan Pillar - Marked the site of Buddha’s first sermon. It is famed for its Lion Capital, now the national emblem of India.

Deer Park - A sacred site where Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment, marking the beginning of the Buddhist Sangha.

Sarnath Museum (Closed on Friday)- The Buddhist artifacts excavated from Sarnath, kept here.

Evening enjoy Boat ride at Holy river the Ganga & witness Ganges Aarti - A beautiful and spiritual ritual performed on the banks of the River Ganga, especially in cities like Varanasi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh. It involves priests dressed in traditional attire offering prayers to the river using lit oil lamps (diyas), incense, flowers, and chanting of mantras.

Overnight: Stay overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Breakfast: Start the day with breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer: Drive to Lumbini (approx. 390 Kms / 7- 8 Hrs). Lumbini is in Nepal. Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal.

Arrive: On arrival Lumbini after clearing immigration, Transfer to hotel.

Overnight: Stay overnight at hotel in Lumbini.

Breakfast: Start the day with breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed to visit:

Maya Devi Temple: marks the exact spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha, and is the spiritual heart of the sacred garden, surrounded by ancient ruins and the sacred pond.

The Ashokan Pillar: was erected by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE to commemorate Lord Buddha’s birthplace, and it still stands as a symbol of peace and devotion.

Sacred garden - The holy area surrounding the exact birthplace of Lord Buddha, where Queen Māyā Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama.

Various monasteries built by different countries.

Transfer: After visit drive to Sravasti (approx. 220 Kms / 5 Hrs). 

Enroute visit Kapilvastu: The places where Lord Buddha spent his child hood visit Piprahwa Stupa.

After visit drive continue: Arrive Sravasti, transfer to hotel.

Overnight: Stay overnight at hotel in Sravasti.

Jetvanaram Monastery - is one of the most important Buddhist sites where Lord Buddha spent 25 rainy seasons.

Ananda Bodhi Tree - is a sacred fig tree planted by the Buddha’s disciple Anathapindika to offer a place for devotees to worship when the Buddha was away

Saheth and Maheth: are the ancient sites in Shravasti where Lord Buddha spent many rainy seasons teaching, with Saheth housing the Jetavana Monastery and Maheth containing the ruins of the old city and important stupas.

After visit drive to Lucknow (approx. 170 Kms / 4 hrs).

Arrive: On arrival Lucknow, transfer to hotel.

Overnight: Stay overnight at hotel in Lucknow.

Transfer: Drive towards Agra (350 kms / 7 -8 Hrs.) 

Enroute visit Sankasia: The lace, where lord Buddha descended from heaven to teach his mother.

Bisari Dewi Temple: A local Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bisari Devi, visited for spiritual worship and regional faith traditions.

Ashokan Elephant Pillar: An ancient Mauryan-era pillar attributed to Emperor Ashoka, symbolizing early Buddhist influence in the region.

After visit drive continue to Agra.

Arrive: On arrival Agra, transfer at hotel.

Overnight: Stay overnight at hotel in Agra.

Proceed to visit:

Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays) - The world-famous Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is a symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Agra Fort - Showcasing the grandeur of Mughal architecture and located on the banks of the Yamuna River.

Transfer: After visit drive to Delhi (approx. 210 Kms / 4.5 Hrs).

Arrive: On arrive Delhi, check in at hotel, take rest.

Agrasen Ki Baoli: an ancient step-well that offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.

India Gate: a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who died in World War I.

National War Memorial: unveiled in 2019, dedicated to the armed forces.
